The founders

Amandine and Jeronimo met in Paris while studying Architecture and Interior Design at ESAG Penninghen in Paris, France, and have worked together on various projects across the globe over the last decade. After co-designing and teaching the curriculum on an interior design course in Miami, Fl., they saw the power that the course had on their students personal and professional lives, and decided to work with their network of designers to extend the curriculum and transfer the course online.

Amandine Buisson

Amandine is an award-winning, highly regarded and well-published interior designer - with the rare skill of combining creativity with an impressive focus on detail. With 12 years of professional experience split between the US and Paris, Amandine has worked on a range of large-scale, high end commercial projects as well as smaller scale domestic ones. Amandine spent years working with the likes of India Madhavi Studio (on Architectural Digest’s AD100 list) in Paris and Atelier de Yavorsky in Miami Florida, before going freelance and becoming a teacher of interior design at the Istituto Marangoni. Amandine is known for her ability to form enduring relationships with her clients and students alike; connecting to their needs and aspirations and helping both achieve their goals. Amandine has a passion for supporting people on their journey to becoming interior designers; caring foremost about student outcomes. She peppers the curriculum with her love of discovering new and beautiful things; from exhibitions to artisans to nature. She is a collector, with a passion for cultural heritage and interesting objects which tell stories about the people who designed or bought them. "A lot of people question whether they can do it or if they have the right skills, but I really want people to understand that through this course they can practice ID in the real world."

Jeronimo Tani

Jeronimo is a multidisciplinary designer whose work spans physical and digital design. He has consulted small and large design agencies across the world; but as well as consulting industry leading mixed reality tech companies such as Magic Leap. Jeronimo’s curiosity and love for exploring the way that behavioural science and anthropology intersect with design gives him a unique perspective and skill at designing spaces to connect with human need and desire. Teaching Interior Design at Istituto Marangoni in Miami, Fl., ignited Jeronimo’s passion for creating a world-class, practice-focussed curriculum for Interior Design. He is particularly skilled at identifying the unique traits or skills of his students; helping them connect to and articulate this within their work. Jeronimo has a love of immersive experience which take you on a journey through your senses. He loves to understand how and why the world works in the way it does, and uses his innate optimism as the driving force behind his desire to create a better, more beautiful world. "My skill is in recognising potential - the potential of people, the potential and power of design; the potential of optimistic thinking to imagine and create better futures. My goal is to empower people who want to become designers with the mindset, to not only be good designers, but to become great ones".
